A) Rules & Regulations — Global Free-Throw Challenge
1) Overview
The Global Free-Throw Challenge (“Event”) is an open community participation event organized by Titan Athletics Co. Participants attempt a free throw during a scheduled event window to support a worldwide, simultaneous participation moment.
2) Eligibility
- Open worldwide unless prohibited by local law.
- Participants under 18 should participate with parent/guardian permission and supervision.
- The Event is not intended for children under 13 to submit personal information directly. Parents/guardians should submit on their behalf if needed.
3) How to Participate
- Sign up on the Event registration form (if available).
- Choose a location with a basketball hoop (gym, school, park, driveway hoop, etc.).
- At the official Event time (or during the official Event window), attempt one (1) free throw.
- Optional: record video or take a photo for your own proof and sharing (see Media Consent below).
4) Free-Throw Definition
A “free throw” for this Event means a shot attempt taken from a standard free-throw line distance on a regulation court when available. If a regulation court is not available, participants may approximate a free-throw distance suitable to their location. We encourage participants to follow local facility rules and safety guidelines.
5) Event Time & Time Zones
The official Event time and/or participation window will be announced on the Event page and/or via email to registered participants. Participants are responsible for converting the official time to their local time zone if needed.
6) Safety Rules
- Follow all facility, school, park, and local rules.
- Warm up appropriately and stop if you feel pain or dizziness.
- Use proper footwear and a safe playing surface.
- Participants assume all risk for participation and training activities.
7) Sportsmanship & Conduct
- No cheating, harassment, threats, hate, or unsafe conduct.
- No disruptive behavior at public courts or facilities.
- We may disqualify participation or remove content submissions that violate these rules.
8) Results, Verification & Records
The Event is intended to be community-driven. If we publish participation metrics, they may be based on registrations, submitted confirmations, and other available signals. We may request additional verification for certain claims or featured highlights. We do not guarantee certification by any third-party record organization unless explicitly stated.
9) Media (Photos/Video) & Permission
If you voluntarily submit photos/videos or post with Event hashtags, you grant Titan Athletics Co. permission to repost and use that content for Event promotion and recap (with reasonable credit when practical). Do not submit media you do not have permission to share. Parents/guardians must authorize media for minors.
10) Privacy
Any information collected through Event registration or the Site is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Privacy questions: Privacy@TitanAthletics.Co.
11) Changes, Cancellation, or Disqualification
We may modify rules, timing, format, eligibility, verification requirements, or cancel/postpone the Event at any time. Participation may be disqualified for violations of these rules or unsafe/unlawful conduct.
